The Good News and the Bad News

Have you ever been asked the whether you want the good news or the bad news first? I always like the bad news first. That way you get it out of the way and move on the good news!

So...I have some news. Bad news first?

I got spanked. Ok. A few times. Yeah it stinks...but that's not really much news is it? Seems like I am ALWAYS in trouble.

It's only news because....wait for it....


I went 8 whole days! 8 days!!!! In 19 months of dd I have never made it an entire week. I am so very excited!



I know 8 days isn't much for some, but it feels like a major accomplishment to me. It has taken a long time for dd to just "be a part of life" and not be so all consuming as it is in the beginning...it's been quite a transition for me...but I am working on it. DD is just a part of life at this point. I never thought I would get here.


Of course SC added a rule this week that is going to be nearly impossible for me to do so I doubt this will happen again anytime soon! ;)

    I'm so happy for you Cole!! I think it's awesome, and you should be so proud of yourself! Job well done my friend :) It's such a nice feeling when DD becomes just part of life, there is a huge sense of security in that.

    Hi Cole,

    8 days without a spanking is great! Good job, you really should be proud of yourself :) Why can't Hohs give us easy rules? It seems they always pick the hard stuff.......good luck on your new rule.

    Yay! Congratulations on your 8 days Cole. That is such good news and I know you must feel elated. Not sure what your new rule is but you can do it!!! Some rules just take more time than others to adjust to. :)

    Wow 8 days is good, I'm happy for you. It really does feel nice when thing just fall in to place and DD becomes part of life and not something extra we have to work hard at. I'm sorry about the new rule, I hope it doesn't get in the way too much :)
